The Thương Hiệu Vàng TP.HCM Award was established in 2020 under a plan initiated by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee and organized by Tuổi Trẻ Newspaper in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade. Under the theme “Creating New Drivers of Growth,” the 2026 edition honors brands that demonstrate strong competitiveness, market credibility, a commitment to innovation, and a sustainable development orientation.
This year, the Thương Hiệu Vàng TP.HCM Award received more than 200 applications, with its evaluation framework focusing on three key groups of criteria: business performance and brand development, innovation, and ESG factors (environmental, social, and governance). As Ho Chi Minh City advances new growth drivers and strengthens its competitiveness, Coteccons’ recognition reflects not only its business performance but also the company’s ongoing efforts in innovation, sustainable development, and creating positive value for the community.
The “Made in Vietnam” Brand Goes Global
In the construction industry, where credibility is built on execution capabilities and tangible projects, a brand represents the culmination of a long journey of demonstrating quality, competence, and commitment to customers. Over the years, Coteccons has continuously strengthened its position by delivering numerous large-scale projects for both domestic and international developers, while sustaining strong and stable growth.
In fiscal year 2026, Coteccons recorded consolidated net revenue of VND 34,340 billion, up 38% year-on-year and 14.5% above its annual target. Profit after tax reached VND 788 billion, increasing 72.7% year-on-year and exceeding the target by 12.6%. Notably, profit growth nearly doubled revenue growth, reflecting improved operational efficiency and an increasingly strong quality of growth. Alongside its solid financial foundation, Coteccons’ general contracting capabilities, demonstrated through large-scale high-tech industrial, commercial, and real estate projects, have contributed to its continued recognition in prestigious construction industry and regional business rankings. These achievements reinforce the image of a Vietnamese construction brand with international competitiveness.
In 2026, Coteccons continued to climb the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 rankings, marking its fourth consecutive year on the list of the largest companies in Southeast Asia. This achievement reflects not only the company’s scale, operational performance, and management capabilities but also the growing competitiveness of a Vietnamese brand on the regional stage. From iconic developments in Ho Chi Minh City, including Landmark 81, Vinhomes Central Park, The Marq, Lancaster Legacy, The Metropole Thu Thiem, and Vinhomes Grand Park, to partnerships with leading global FDI clients such as LEGO, Pandora, Tetra Pak, and CapitaLand (Orchard Hill – Sycamore), Coteccons continues to demonstrate its ability to meet stringent international standards for quality, safety, and sustainable development.

Landmark 81 (full name: Vincom Landmark 81) is an iconic architectural landmark and the tallest building in Vietnam, with Coteccons serving as the main contractor.
This also lays the foundation for Coteccons to implement its Go Global strategy, progressively expanding its competitive capabilities beyond the domestic market and seeking deeper participation in the regional construction value chain. This journey reflects not only Coteccons’ own growth but also demonstrates that Vietnamese enterprises can build competitive advantages that meet international standards, contributing to elevating the position of Vietnam’s construction industry and strengthening the national brand in a new era of development.
Trust: “Wherever Coteccons Goes, It Leaves a Greener and Better World Behind”
In addition to receiving the Thương Hiệu Vàng TP.HCM 2026 Award, Coteccons was also named among the TOP 10 Most Popular Enterprises through a public voting campaign organized by Tuổi Trẻ Newspaper. This recognition reflects the public’s appreciation for and trust in the Coteccons brand.

For Coteccons, success is measured not only by business performance but also by the value the company creates for the community and the trust it builds with its stakeholders. Guided by its “human-hearted company” philosophy, Coteccons places people at the center of everything it does, from customers and partners to employees and the wider community. Accordingly, the “S” in ESG begins with the most fundamental priorities: safety, health, development opportunities, and respect for workers.
This commitment is reflected in a safe working environment, employee welfare policies, training programs, and awareness-raising initiatives at construction sites. At Coteccons, safety culture is not merely an operational requirement; it has become a core value that defines the company’s identity. In response to the 2026 Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health, Coteccons partnered with the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs to promote a culture of safety and advance a safe, sustainable, and people-centered working environment.
At Coteccons, every ESG initiative must address a material issue within the construction industry and deliver measurable change. In 2026, the “Xây Tết” program was implemented across 73 construction sites, distributing more than 40,000 gifts to 33,000 workers and providing over 1,200 health check-ups. The program also expanded its reach to include environmental sanitation and urban drainage workers.

With the participation of nearly 70 partner entities, "Xây Tết" (Building Tet) has evolved from a simple Tet welfare initiative into a collaborative platform connecting government departments, agencies, businesses, organizations, and the community to provide tangible support for workers. In Ho Chi Minh City, the program is supported by the City’s Department of Home Affairs, the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Science, the Youth Union of PC07 (Ho Chi Minh City Police), and the City’s Center for Support of Young Workers (under the City Youth Union). While statistics help measure the scale of impact, the true value lies in the workers feeling cared for, respected, and supported. This initiative also reflects how Coteccons extends its sense of responsibility to the entire ecosystem of stakeholders who help build structures and keep the city running.
Turning Responsibility into a Driving Force for Leadership
As Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam prioritize innovation and ESG, Coteccons’ recognition reflects the alignment between the company’s development direction and the city’s sustainable growth strategy. For Coteccons, ESG is not merely a set of standards to fulfill reporting requirements; it is a modern governance foundation that enables early risk identification, efficient resource allocation, greater transparency, and trust-building with employees, customers, partners, investors, and the wider community.
ESG is therefore integrated across all levels of the organization, from Board-level strategy to the operations of functional divisions and individual construction sites. This approach aims to achieve quality growth—growth underpinned by operational discipline, social responsibility, and long-term competitiveness—while increasingly meeting the standards of project owners and multinational corporations. Coteccons’ achievement of 84% of the total score under the Vietnam Sustainability Index (VNSI) marks a noteworthy milestone, while also reinforcing the need to continuously improve the quality of practices underlying these measured results.
As a leading general contractor in the construction industry, Coteccons views digital transformation not only as a tool for improving operational efficiency but also as a foundation for building long-term competitive advantages. The company has implemented Workday, an internationally recognized human capital management system, expanded the application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in design and construction, and digitized processes for project management, quality control, safety, and real-time construction site operations. In addition, emerging technologies and data are integrated throughout the project lifecycle to optimize resources, manage risks, improve productivity, and reduce environmental impacts.

The event marks a significant milestone in the transition of management leadership at Coteccons.
For Coteccons, innovation is not only about enhancing corporate efficiency but also about contributing to the advancement of Vietnam’s construction industry. As Vietnamese enterprises become increasingly capable of meeting higher standards in technology, governance, and sustainable development, their competitive advantages gradually translate into a broader competitive advantage for the nation.
